Where Viora differs in practice

One hotkey, two modes

Hold a single key (Fn on Mac keyboards, Ctrl+F on others) and Viora starts listening. When you let go, an intent classifier decides what happens next:

• If you have text selected and your cursor is in an input box, Viora figures out whether you wanted to edit that text or ask about it, and routes accordingly.
• Otherwise it dictates cleaned-up text into the cursor, the same way every other dictation tool does.
• If your sentence is a question or a task ("schedule a 30-minute focus block tomorrow"), Viora opens the Agent Card next to its on-screen Capsule and streams an answer. Tool calls — calendar lookup, web search, third-party connectors — run inline.

Wispr Flow stays on the second rail: it dictates and cleans up. There is no equivalent path that turns a spoken sentence into a calendar event or a web answer.

The Capsule UI

Viora's signature on macOS is the Capsule — a floating orb that docks to one of four corner states (top-left, top-right, half-hidden left, half-hidden right). When the agent answers, a separate Agent Card window opens on the side opposite to the docking edge so the response never opens off-screen. The Status button on the Capsule re-opens your last response and focuses a text input, so you can refine your prompt without re-recording. Wispr Flow uses a more conventional menu-bar icon and toast.

When the same kind of agent request comes back enough times, Viora's backend drafts a "Skill" proposal.
